Shauna has been teaching since July 2014 and it’s where she feels most at home. Seeing her students progress mentally and physically is a source of great pride and joy in her life. Her intent as a teacher is to offer her students a space to step away from the craziness that is life. To create a community where everyone feels welcomed regardless of their ability. A space to teeter on their edge and safely move past it. She recommends an open mind and a non-judgmental attitude. You can learn so much about yourself on the mat, all you need to do is listen.
Shauna prides herself in her creative but specific and challenging yet accessible sequences with a strong emphasis on alignment.
Shauna received her 200-hr certification from Boston Yoga School in 2014 lead by her teacher Ame Wren. She is forever a student and continuously inspired by Ame, Brenna Matthews and Joanna Benevides.
